CALL TO ACTION: SAVE OUR SWWHS (WALLS) TEACHERS!

Two teaching positions at Walls will be eliminated next year because of DCPS budget cuts. The Walls LSAT and HSA are organizing efforts to advocate for funding so we can save these positions and keep our staff whole. 

This document outlines ways that we can all advocate for funding and includes sample letters and talking points for your communications with the Mayor/Chancellor and DC Council. 

We also need help leading efforts and showing support. If you can help with targeted efforts like Council visits, testimonies, and social media support, please complete this google form to indicate your interest. We will hold a meeting in the coming days with folks who are able to engage in this critical advocacy for our school.
